Dissemination
Planned Dissemination Activities
From the beginning of the project, a clear dissemination strategy has been designed to ensure that results reach a wide audience and have a long-term impact. Planned activities include:
- Local dissemination events, aimed at presenting project activities and outcomes to the community
- Press articles in school magazines and local newspapers
- An online shared platform (WordPress) for uploading and accessing educational resources such as lesson plans, videos, research results, and learning materials
- School presentations, workshops, and seminars to share student work, ethical media guidelines, and key learning outcomes
- Teacher training and multiplication activities, enabling educators to transfer project methods into other classes and schools
- Use of Erasmus+ and eTwinning communities to share results at European level
- Parental engagement activities, including information sessions and meetings on media literacy and digital responsibility
- Community involvement events with journalists, media professionals, and local leaders to discuss media ethics
- Local media coverage, including newspapers, radio, and community blogs
- Social media communication and project website, ensuring continuous visibility and access to results
What Has Been Achieved So Far
Dissemination and promotion of project results have been continuously implemented in all partner countries, according to the agreed dissemination plan. Each school has actively contributed to increasing the project's visibility at local, national, and international level.
A key aspect of dissemination has been the regular publication of results on each partner school's official website, https://colegiuldumitrumotoc.ro/KA210-SCH/KA210-SCH_School_Education.html, https://www.madalyonkoleji.com.tr/sayfa/eTwinning, as well as in school newsletters and local newspapers. These publications have accompanied nearly every project activity, including mobilities, workshops, training sessions, and classroom implementations, ensuring constant visibility within each school community.
Articles have been published on national platforms https://edict.ro/breaking-the-filter-cum-invata-tinerii-sa-vada-dincolo-de-zgomotul-digital/?fbclid=IwY2xjawS2_PpleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeieFBwVSA3UGWaxbMRS7165SjRTyZO5fcSLLRBM5I1t36inOdzqDzrSsHG8o_aem_7Z_2wEQy5uWJw0mpscVCmQ and also in school magazines: Sweet Taste of Innovation & Inclusion, no 10, https://online.fliphtml5.com/mvozt/zgmq/#p=1, no 11 https://online.fliphtml5.com/mvozt/jgkx/#p=1, no 12 https://online.fliphtml5.com/mvozt/xxhj/ .
In addition, every event organized within the project has been documented and shared locally, including Erasmus Days celebrations, workshops, presentations, exhibitions, and community activities. This approach has ensured that project outcomes are consistently communicated to students, parents, teachers, and local stakeholders in each participating country:
An additional dissemination opportunity was provided through the International Symposium "New Paradigms in Education: From Competences to Consciousness", where the project coordinator from Romania and the partner coordinators from Turkey and Serbia presented papers related to media literacy, digital education and the project's objectives. All contributions were published in the Best Practices Methodological Guide (ISBN), ensuring wider dissemination of the project's results within the international educational community and supporting the sustainability and transferability of the project's outcomes.

School communication platforms, where each partner regularly posts updates, photos, videos, and reports from activities.
A YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@BreakingtheFilterErasmuspr-f5g has been used to publish multimedia outputs such as the international podcast and the eSafety awareness video created by students.
Through the eTwinning platform, collaboration between partner schools has been strengthened, allowing continuous exchange of materials and extending dissemination beyond physical mobilities.
At institutional level, results have been shared through Erasmus Corners, classroom activities, exhibitions, internal presentations, and staff meetings. Teachers have also disseminated project outcomes during conferences, methodological meetings, and training sessions.
At local and regional level, dissemination has included cooperation with universities, participation in Erasmus Days, and involvement in community events with external stakeholders. Local media coverage and educational articles have further strengthened visibility.
A significant output is the bilingual media literacy handbook, translated in all 3 languages of the project and also in English and widely shared among partners. The textbook even won Third Prize at the county stage of the national "Made for Europe" competition, in Romania, increasing the project's visibility and recognition.
Promotional materials such as banners, roll-ups, brochures, and eco-friendly items have supported visibility during all events and mobilities.
Impact and Outlook
Dissemination activities have ensured continuous visibility of the project in all partner countries, with consistent communication through school websites, local events, and media channels.
The project continues to build a strong international community focused on media literacy, digital citizenship, and ethical journalism, with results that are actively shared, reused, and integrated into educational practice across Europe.
Although the project is still in progress, it has already generated a significant and measurable impact on participants, partner organisations and the wider educational community.
At participant level, students have substantially improved their media literacy, digital competences, critical thinking and investigative skills. Through practical activities such as fact-checking workshops, digital content creation, investigative journalism exercises and the production of an international podcast, they have become more confident in identifying misinformation, verifying sources and communicating responsibly in digital environments. Working in multicultural teams has strengthened their communication, collaboration, problem-solving and intercultural competences while fostering respect for diversity, democratic values and active European citizenship.
Teachers have benefited from continuous professional development through the exchange of innovative pedagogical approaches, digital tools and good practices in media literacy education. The partnership has enabled teachers to integrate new methodologies into classroom practice, including inquiry-based learning, digital storytelling, podcast production, collaborative online learning and project-based education. These approaches are already being implemented in regular teaching activities and will continue to be used beyond the lifetime of the project.
The participating organisations have strengthened their institutional capacity for international cooperation and project management. Regular collaboration has reinforced mutual trust, improved communication procedures and created sustainable mechanisms for joint planning, monitoring, dissemination and quality assurance. The project has also expanded each school's European network and increased its visibility through Erasmus+, eTwinning and cooperation with external stakeholders.
The project has already produced a wide range of sustainable educational resources, including an educational platform, a bilingual handbook on media literacy and case studies, lesson plans, classroom activities, multimedia resources, an international podcast, an eSafety awareness video and a shared digital repository. These resources remain freely accessible and continue to support both classroom teaching and future Erasmus+ initiatives.
The impact extends well beyond the direct participants. Project results have been disseminated through conferences, workshops, Erasmus Days events, school presentations, teacher training sessions, methodological meetings, local media, social media channels, the project website and blog, the educational platform and the eTwinning project. Collaboration with the Faculty of Letters at "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galați has further strengthened the project's academic dimension and created additional learning opportunities for students interested in journalism and media education.
At local and regional level, the project has contributed to raising awareness of media literacy, responsible journalism, online safety and critical thinking among students, teachers, parents and other educational stakeholders. Through dissemination activities and public events, the partnership has promoted informed media consumption and encouraged active civic engagement within the community.
The bilingual handbook developed within the project received Third Prize at the county stage of the Romanian national competition Made for Europe, providing external recognition of the quality and educational value of the partnership's work. This achievement has increased the visibility of the project and encouraged wider dissemination of its results among schools and educational institutions.
At European level, the project has strengthened cooperation among schools from Romania, Türkiye and Serbia, promoting intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and the exchange of educational innovation. By addressing common challenges related to misinformation, digital citizenship and ethical media practices, the partnership contributes to the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion, digital transformation, active participation in democratic life and the development of key competences for lifelong learning.
The consortium expects the project's impact to continue growing throughout the remaining implementation period and beyond, as the educational resources, methodologies and international partnerships established through the project will remain available for future students, teachers and Erasmus+ initiatives.
